[Homecoming]

Even as someone that isn't trans, I found this story to be relatable. It's all too common for family to be divided because of the current political climate reducing everything to "us vs them." It always hurts when family, people who you'd have trust with, can be true to, don't accept you for who you are.

Yeah, I think there's a lot of that mindset in the world right now, which is why I tried my best to keep things pretty gray here. I know what side I'm on, but it'd be dishonest not give both sides the character depth they deserve.

People need to learn how to talk again, even if it kinda seems hopeless; it's the only option we have to help things get better.
